Abstract
The main idea for this project s to preserve the rich Wakhi culture and sell it to the costumers at mass level, for local and foreign tourists, students, researchers, and many more. Wakhi people are living in four neighboring countries, Pakistan, China, Afghanistan, Tajikistan. This will be first ever cultural center located on the main Karakoram Highway/old silk rute and it will provide easy access to visitors to see other cultural and man-made features in the Museum and as well as in the village, i.e. Shrine, hot spring, suspension bridge, Borith lake etc.The idea is to sell the rich culture, values, traditions, practices, food and arts and crafts, this will not only provide opportunity to all female and male unemployed people from the community but this initiatives will preserve the culture as well and will promote tourism in the region. Wakhi Cultural Museum/Food and Craft Center that will provide opportunity to young girls and boys from the community as a tour guide, interpreter, receptionist, musicians, performers and businesses around the Museum of local food, arts, crafts, music etc.
