Abstract
This workshop aspires to provide attendees with essential tools and techniques for quantitative analysis of narrative and non-numeric information. Designed for researchers and practitioners across disciplines, the session explores methods such as Latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA), sentiment analysis, frequency counts and data visualization. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on exercises and apply quantitative techniques to derive insights from qualitative data. By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with skills to enrich their qualitative analysis through integration of quantitative approaches.
