Abstract
Technology platforms and tools are integral to the student experience in Computer Science courses, many of which incorporate AI-driven features that both students and teachers engage with. Students are often exposed to AI unknowingly through tools and platforms, but also use AI-driven resources, such as chatbots, intentionally to deepen their understanding of topics or assignments. Teachers, in turn, use AI-enhanced tools for grading and grouping assignments. This study explores the extent to which AI has permeated the technology classroom and examines the decisions made by educators to permit the use of AI, often with certain restrictions.
