Abstract
As the demand for AI technologies increases, this study explores how Art and Design students at Management and Science University experienced using AI tools in their learning and creative processes in educational institutions improve; comprehending their impact on students’ learning experiences has become essential. However, previous literature shows a lack of exploration of Art and Design students’ experiences of using AI tools in studies. Thus, this study investigates the experiences of art and design students at Management and Science University who use AI tools in their educational and artistic endeavors. By focusing on their personal experiences, the research aims to uncover the role of AI tools in shaping their academic creative journeys. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the study employed an in-depth interview to listen closely to students’ experiences about how AI tools have influenced their thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. The study used thematic analysis to identify prevalent themes and insights as findings of this research. Thus, this research provides an enhanced comprehension of student interactions with AI technologies and highlights their potential as helpful instruments in creative education. This exploration will provide benefits and significant insights for educators and higher learning institutions seeking to incorporate AI tools into their teaching, instructional design, assessment, assignments, and projects, hence enhancing learning in a more relevant and engaging manner.
