Abstract
This narrative study adopted a qualitative framework with four case studies which included participants representing non-profit, business, industry, and training sectors as they engaged in the process of designing effective eLearning experiences outside of the K-12 setting. The study followed the journey of the participants in creating and presenting their lived stories and experiences. Data was collected over a period of two years as participants worked through individual eLearning projects from beginning to end. Through storying and re-storing, the researcher presents a rich picture of what took place including the challenges and successes in an attempt to offer insight and encouragement for those who are embarking as well as living the eLearning experience outside of the formal K-12 education setting where adopted pedagogies and sound curriculum design is key to success.
