Description

Welcome to the micro-site for the Twenty-Sixth International Conference on Diversity in Organizations, Communities & Nations.

Founded in 2000, Diversity in Organizations, Communities & Nations Research Network is brought together by a common concern for the science of, and social responses to, climate change. We seek to build an epistemic community where we can make linkages across disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries. As a Research Network, we are defined by our scope and concerns and motivated to build strategies for action framed by our shared themes and tensions.

The Twenty-Sixth International Conference on Diversity in Organizations, Communities & Nations calls for research addressing the following annual themes and special focus:

  • 2026 Special Focus—The Social Impacts of Geopolitics: Interventions to Strengthen Humanity

  • Theme 1: Identity and Belonging

  • Theme 2: Educating and Learning in Worlds of Difference

  • Theme 3: Organizational Diversity

  • Theme 4: Community Diversity and Governance

We are interested in the following lines of investigation:

  • Making sense of individuals, communities, and societies.

  • Teaching and learning difference.

  • Building, sustaining, and valuing diversity in organizations.

  • The processes of governance and democracy in diverse communities.

Diversity in Organizations, Communities & Nations Research Network also supports a book imprint and a collection of journals.
