  I am Senior Lecturer of Arts Management at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. My research interests include the creative industries, cultural theory and policy, cultural and business planning for the arts in Asia. I helmed the Arts Management Programme before taking on my current post as Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts & Integrated Studies at LASALLE in 2004. I specialise in programme development and have successfully developed postgraduate programmes in arts and cultural management, art therapy and art history in Singapore. Prior to academia, I worked with various non-profit and for profit arts organisations in Singapore including the National Arts Council and I have spearheaded major marketing projects including the Singapore Arts Festival. I continue to work with the arts community through representation in funding and policy-making bodies and my writings on visual arts and theatre in Singapore.
