The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Global Studies engages with one of the defining phenomena of our contemporary world: globalization. It welcomes “this-worldly” approaches that delve into the granular details and complexities of global processes, examining the challenging, sometimes perilous, yet undeniably promising facets of today’s interconnected realities. The journal invites scholarship that situates “new globalizations” in the context of earlier global movements, investigating what remains continuous and what is genuinely novel. Finally, we seek contributions that re-examine and redefine the concept of globalization from theoretical, anthropological, and philosophical perspectives.
