The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Organizational Studies offers a pragmatic focus to investigate the “organization” and “management” of groups of people collaborating toward productive ends across various contexts—from micro-enterprises to multinational corporations, as well as institutions of formal learning, public sector agencies, and community organizations. The journal is interested in the intangible drivers that lie beyond organizational boundaries, taking shape in the dynamics of alliances, networks, and communities of practice. We seek to offer a forum for considering how human capital, shared understandings, and productive diversity shape efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.

The International Journal of Interdisciplinary Organizational Studies also aims to provide insights into the making of sustainable and successful organizations in today’s knowledge economies.
