Abstract

This study investigated the impact of innovative pedagogical practices on enhancing learning outcomes and social interaction for children with special needs in Jordanian educational settings. Using a qualitative approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted with twenty teachers and twenty parents from three special education centers in Amman. The findings revealed that the adoption of personalized learning plans, technology-enhanced instruction, and interactive teaching methods significantly improved student engagement, academic performance, and peer relationships. Participants noted that these methods were very successful in meeting a variety of learning goals, and they reported high satisfaction with them. Challenges were also noted, including a lack of resources, inadequate training, and opposition to change. Increasing resource allocation, giving teachers thorough training, developing a positive school climate, improving parent-teacher communication, and increasing policy support are among the recommendations. The study highlighted areas for future improvement while underlining the transformative potential of new pedagogical techniques in inclusive education. Subsequent investigations have to concentrate on ongoing consequences of implementing these practices, the adaptability of these methods to diverse educational contexts, and comparative analyses of their effectiveness across different educational settings to enhance and broaden the use of these methodologies.
